Privacy Policy

This policy explains how data is handled when you browse Shadowrocket Official Guide. This is the official Shadowrocket website and guide, with information for verifying the official App Store listing, following setup steps, and consulting configuration references. Website visits, app use, and App Store purchases are separate matters.

1. Scope and information you submit

This site uses static pages and has no user registration, sign-in, or email collection forms. You can read the guide without submitting your name, payment information, or Apple Account details. This site does not provide node services or offer, sell, or recommend subscriptions or server services.

The guides assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Handle these details in the app as instructed; do not submit them through this site. A one-time app purchase is not a service plan. App purchases, connection services, and browsing this site are separate matters. This policy covers this website only.

2. Access logs and analytics

When your browser requests a page, the site's hosting and delivery infrastructure may generate technical logs containing the request time, page path, response status, IP address, browser type, and referrer information. These logs support page delivery, troubleshooting, and operational security. They are not the same as connection logs in the app.

This site uses analytics to understand page readership, on-site navigation, and use of App Store links, helping improve the documentation and identify broken links. Analytics may include pages visited, device category, referring page, and click events. Clicking an App Store button on the download page is recorded as a visit to the product page; purchase outcomes are not included.

Do not add passwords, subscription URLs, or other sensitive information to this site's URLs. They could otherwise appear in request paths or referrer information in logs. How long analytics and logs are retained depends on the configuration of the relevant infrastructure; this policy does not make a uniform retention-time guarantee that cannot be verified.

3. Cookies and local storage

Page interactions may use URL fragments to preserve a section position or selected content; a URL fragment is not itself a cookie. Analytics or infrastructure may use cookies, local storage, or similar mechanisms to maintain visit recognition. Check the site data shown in your browser to see whether data is stored and how long it is retained.

You can view, restrict, or delete this site's data in your browser's privacy settings, or restrict scripts. These actions may affect analytics, expanded navigation, or restoration of your reading position; page content and standard links remain available. Deleting browser data does not automatically delete records already stored on servers.

4. App Store and app data

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the only place to get it is the App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Account sign-in, payments, purchase history, and refund handling after you leave this site are subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies.

This site does not receive bank card details, Apple Account passwords, or purchase credentials. Review the app's privacy disclosures on its product page and its handling of data in the app separately; this website's policy does not replace them. Refer to the App Store page for system requirements and compatibility.

5. Your choices and information protection

This site's access records are used only for the delivery, maintenance, and documentation analysis described above. The technical infrastructure involved may process request data for these purposes. Any legally required disclosure is limited to what applicable law requires. This site does not collect in-app server configurations as website analytics data.

When reading the guide or troubleshooting, do not publicly share complete links, QR codes, or configuration details that contain subscription credentials. For setup questions, start with the Getting Started guide; for rule questions, see the configuration reference. These pages are for reference, not for submitting personal information.

6. Policy updates

This policy may be revised when data handling, analytics purposes, or page features change. The month of the latest update will be shown on this page. Updated text will be published here. If new information collection or a change of purpose is involved, details will be provided where the relevant feature is introduced, and consent will be obtained separately when required by law.

Because this site does not keep an email address for notifications, policy updates will be posted on this page rather than sent by email. We recommend reviewing the relevant terms before using new features. For privacy matters involving an external store or app, check the current information on the applicable page.
